You’re a falling star, you’re the getaway car…

Listened to “Everything” – by Michael Buble last week!

Learned some new phrases..

You’re a falling star

You’re the get away car

You’re the line in the sand when I go too far.

You’re a carousel,

you’re a wishing well,

You’re a mystery, you’re from outer space,

You’re every minute of my everyday.

… that we can use to sing about any habibi or habibati in our lives…

“Am I……. President Obama?”

Today in our conversation group, we played a game…

First we thought of 14 famous people — 6 actors, 3 singers, and 5 people famous outside of entertainment (see list below!).

Then, after writing each name on a card, every person had to tape a card on their forehead… WITHOUT looking at the name. Everyone can see the name the other students have on their head, but no one knows their own…. hence, the game. Each person asks “Yes or No” questions and tries to guess “who they are” !

We had QUITE a mixed group: Justin Bieber, President Obama, Hitler, Selena Gomez, and Mother Theresa….

Needless to say, the questions were various and funny!

Our lists:

6 actors: Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Shia LaBouf, Angelina Jolie, Mel Gibson, Johnny Depp

3 singers: Justin Bieber (Omar: “I’m not jealous”), Selena Gomez, One Direction

(NOTE: all the singers are courtesy of Sally, who has a “soft spot” for – who loves – Justin Bieber!)

5 other famous people: President Obama, King Abdullah (“is it ok if I choose him?” .. “of course”), Mother Theresa, Hitler, Gandhi
